Flinchlocks occur when a bone takes a surprise impact and absorbs the pressure.
This can occur from something as simple as bumping your head on the cupboard door to a major car accident. This impacted bone pressure then becomes the bone’s new working pressure. Ligaments and tendons that are attached to the impacted bone shorten and tighten, as does the surrounding muscle fascia. This is a “Flinchlock”®.
In time your body adjusts to this new working pressure but it does have an effect on how your body functions both physically and emotionally. Over time as you accumulate further flinchlocks your body gets to a point where there is disfunction and imbalance.
Flinchlocks interfere with our reading of the world around us. Mistimed and misjudged steps and altered personality are common indicators our body is not receiving correct sensory information from the skeletal system. This places even greater limitations on the normal functions of our body.
Flinchlocked bones can be released and it is totally painless and safe. There is no manipulation or force involved. At no time should the client feel any discomfort.
Once released there is an immediate shift in balance following the expanding and lengthening of ligaments and tissues. As the body pressure drops integrity and balance is naturally reorganised. This is the same for humans as it is with animals.

RIDERS
As riders we tend to have more injuries than the average person!
Your injuries, area’s of pain and poor posture can be your greatest enemy when it comes to getting the best from your horse. Frequently your horse will mirror your injuries so let’s get you in perfect balance so that you can achieve optimum heath and balance both on and off your horse. Look after yourself and discover a new world of improved riding.
Approx 10 to 30 minutes depending on the animal $60 for the full 30minutes - plus travel if applicable.
Sometimes pets are put down because the vet costs are too high for the owners or simply the owners cannot bear to see their pet in continual pain and/or distress.
The majority of pets respond incredibly well to ConTact C.A.R.E. Some animals I can treat in the clinic if they are relaxed in that atmosphere whereas with others I will travel to you.

As the Practitioner I will find and release the Flinchlocked bones. This is done by equalising the pressure in the bone and then applying a formula. There is no force or manipulation involved. You stay within your comfort at all times.
