Initially I treat the horse which takes 45minutes to 1 hour and then separately treat the rider taking a further 45 minutes to 1 hour. The rider treatment sometimes takes place on a barrel where the rider’s saddle is placed and we are able to assess rider position without the movement of the horse.
The horse is then saddled and checked with each piece of gear and then checked with the rider on board. Any flinchlocks that appear with the combination are removed and the horse/rider and gear all integrated.
Although a horse cannot tell us that they are sore or
unwell they will show us.
The ways that they can do this are through a change in
temperament, showing pain through lameness or a sore back as well as the occurrence of disease.
Flinchlocked bones can effect every aspect of the
horse from conformation, digestive processes, co-ordination, balance and temperament.
As riders we tend to have more injuries than the average person!
Your injuries, area’s of pain and poor posture can be your greatest enemy when it comes to getting the best from your horse.
A flinchlock is heavy and will therefore create an imbalance in you that your horse has to carry.
This can show through as your saddle slipping to one side, trouble striking off on a particular canter lead, one diagonal feeling very uncomfortable, not feeling “even” in your stirrups, plus many more.
Frequently your horse will mirror or in some cases reflect your injuries so let’s get you in perfect balance enabling you to achieve optimum performance both on and off your horse. Look after yourself and discover a new world of improved riding. (also see “Human” page.)
Initially I treat the horse which will take 45 minutes to 1 hour and then separately treat the rider taking a further 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Depending on what is going on with the rider, their treatment may take place on a treatment table or sometimes on a barrel where the rider’s saddle is placed and we are able to assess rider position without the movement of the horse.
The horse is then saddled and checked with each piece of gear and then checked with the rider on board. Any flinchlocks that appear with the combination are removed and the horse/rider and gear all integrated.
The full treatment takes between one and a half to two hours.
If either your your horse have had a treatment before and maybe just need a “tweek” the treatment can be shorter and charged accordingly.
Approx 45minutes to 1 hour $140 this includes travel in the majority of cases
